CastleBranch Corporation, a leader in student and employment screening services, will host a career event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the company’s state-of-the-art headquarters, 1844 Sir Tyler Drive, Wilmington.

Positions available include software developer, sales consultant, sales support specialist, customer service representative, data entry specialist and many others, according to company spokeswoman Elizabeth Bloch.

The new CastleBranch headquarters feature a gym that rivals NFL training facilities with free classes for employees, a nearly 1-acre company garden, a gourmet food truck and almost 100,000 feet of modern design, Bloch said.

CastleBranch’s focus on work-life balance has made it one of the most sought-after employers in the area, Bloch said. In addition to the gym, food truck, garden and modern work-environment, CastleBranch offers weekly paddleboarding and surfing, ping-pong tables, skee-ball, a casual dress code defined as “wear clothes” and regular employee events. CastleBranch also established tekMountain, an incubator space for local startups.

CastleBranch won an incentive package in 2013 from the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County worth up to $500,000, the purpose being to convince CastleBranch to stay and grow in Wilmington (versus a site the company was eyeing in California). It must follow through on its job creation benchmarks–420 new hires by 2017–to receive the public aid in full. It also qualified for $1.23 million in state incentives.

CastleBranch works with more than half of the nation’s colleges and universities, a wide range of employers, healthcare institutions, law firms, various nonprofits and others, Bloch said.
