A Supply woman has been arrested on charges of trafficking nearly 300 methadone pills.
Dori Duke Maultsby-Nehilla, 50, of Pine Knoll Lane, was arrested April 17, according to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Emily Flax. The arrest was the result of a brief investigation and controlled purchase followed by a search of the home.
Detectives seized 296 methadone pills from the home, Flax said.
Maultsby-Nehilla was charged with four counts of trafficking opium (pills), possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, selling a schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was booked at Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $750,000 secured bond.
