Denise J. Bellamy, of Ocean Isle Beach and formerly of Lumberton, died Monday, April 20, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 50.

She was born on Jan. 9, 1965, in Lumberton, the daughter of Miles A. Jackson and Ester Frink Jackson, of Sea Side Station, Sunset Beach. Denise worked as a real estate paralegal for 25 years.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, James “Rusty” Bellamy; two sons, Logan Bellamy and Steven Byrd and fiancé, Kristyn, all of the home; a sister, Doris West and fiancé, Rodney Willoughby, of Lumberton; brother, Alan Jackson and fiancé, Cynthia Robinson, of Ocean Isle Beach; a grandchild, Dayton Byrd; a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; two special loved ones, Len Trynock and Wendy Thomas; and a host of friends and loved ones who saw her through her journey.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday April 25, 2015, at Beulah Baptist Church, Calabash. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
