Clarence Luther “Luke” Moose, of Wilmington, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones and many close friends on April 21, 2015, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Luke, a loving husband to Nini, has gone to be with the Lord after a battle with cancer. He was 69.

He is survived by his wife, Nini; son, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Rajul; granddaughters, Paige and Alayna; brother, Harold Moose and sister, Joyce Bean, both of High Point; and last but not least his faithful and true companion, Kissie.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Luke retired from Corning Corp. in 2008. For the last six years he enjoyed making new friends at the golf driving range, which he owned and operated with his family.

A big celebration will be held in his honor beginning with a visitation at 10 a.m. and followed by services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Freedom Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Dodd Mays and Mr. Jim Coates.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or the Freedom Baptist Church Building Fund.
