Join Hometown Wilmington Media and Live Oak Bank this Saturday in an effort to beautify the Port City.
The two companies have teamed up to plant new trees along the Cross City Trail. Interested volunteers (green thumbs not required) are invited to get their hands dirty and help with the planting.
The effort gets underway at 9 a.m. on Eastwood Road between the Autumn Hall complex office and Rogersville Road.
Hometown Wilmington Media and Live Oak Bank staff will be on hand, with 50 trees to put in the ground along the scenic Cross City Trail.
If you plan to attend, bring shovels, gloves and other applicable tools if you have them. Free parking is available at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Eastwood Road.
