Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation is raffling a 2015 Audi A5 Cabriolet 2.0T Quattro Tiptronic convertible. The prize winner will be announced at this year’s Last Chance for White Pants Gala on Aug. 29.
“We’re extremely excited about this year’s raffle, all thanks to Audi Cape Fear’s sponsorship and support,” Lindsey Champion, LCFH Foundation development manager, said. “It’s a fantastic prize and only a limited number of tickets will be sold.”
The Audi A5 Cabriolet comes standard with a 2.0L TFSI 220 horsepower engine, Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive, an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission, 18-inch 10-spoke-design wheels, convertible top, electronic stability control, leather interior, AM/FM/SAT radio with SD card reader and Audi sound system, heated front seats, navigation, Bluetooth, and many more extras.
LCFH Foundation will cover 33.33 percent of the required federal income tax withholdings. The raffle winner is responsible for any federal taxes above the 33.33 percent, all state taxes, normal state documentation/registration fees and the license tag fee.
The Last Chance for White Pants Gala benefits Lower Cape Fear Hospice and will be 7 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Aug. 29, at Audi Cape Fear, 255 Old Eastwood Road in Wilmington. Audi Cape Fear is this year’s presenting sponsor. Event proceeds support services and programs such as hospice care, palliative care, bereavement services for children and adults, and other services not covered by insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
“Purchasing a ticket for the raffle or gala ensures no patient is turned away regardless of ability to pay,” Champion said. “It also ensures patients’ families get the attention and support they need while dealing with advance illnesses.”
Raffle tickets are $100 and only 1,500 will be sold. The winner does not have to be present to win. You must be 18 or older to participate. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Lower Cape Fear Hospice at 796-8099 ext. 6 or by visiting www.hospicewhitepants.org.
