Richard Harold Mason died April 10, 2015, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown, South Carolina. He was 73.

Mr. Mason was born on June 15, 1941 in Bronx, New York. He was the son of the late Arlene Ozall Mason and Harold Jackson Mason.

A visitation was held Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Graham Funeral Home in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Roberta DeNicola Mason, of Georgetown, South Carolina; two sons, Richard Harold Mason Jr. (Maggie) and Greggrey Todd Mason (Cassa), both of Wilmington; and four grandchildren, Althea, Chloe, Waylon and Cooper.

Mr. Mason was an avid boater who enjoyed power boats and boat building. He was a skilled carpenter who designed and built his own house and was a former owner of a bar and marina. Mr. Mason was a member of the NRA and Fraternal Order of Police. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was friendly, outgoing and loved by all.
