The Meineke Car Care Center in Leland, which recently opened for business, is holding a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16-18. A complimentary lunch will be provided, and attendees can register to win door prizes.
The grand opening includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Miss North Carolina Beth Stovall is confirmed to attend, and a number of college mascots and local dignitaries have been invited. Musical entertainment will be provided by Red Fraley, who will be playing guitar and singing rock-n-roll, beach, country, R&B and oldies.
According to David Sink, Jr., who owns and operates the Leland Meineke franchise, Elvis may even make an appearance.
