New Hanover County Register of Deeds Tammy Beasley, along with assistants Kimberly Phillips, Micah Phelps, Theresa Davis and Andrea Creswell have completed North Carolina’s School of Government Advanced Register of Deeds School, located in Chapel Hill.
Advanced ROD Certification requires an additional 32 hours of specialized training in North Carolina Law, General Statues and Managerial Protocols and Procedures, according to a news release from New Hanover County.
“Education is a critical component in serving the citizens of New Hanover County and I am very proud to have staff that share the county’s initiatives and align with the shared values of professionalism, integrity, innovation, stewardship and accountability,” Beasley said.
The Register of Deeds has two locations: 216 N. Second St. and 230 Government Center Drive Suite #180. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
