Another funnyman has joined this year’s Cape Fear Comedy Festival lineup.
Festival organizers recently announced Comedy Central alum Baron Vaughn has been added to the sixth annual event, set for April 29-May 2 in downtown Wilmington.
Vaughn currently stars opposite Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda in the Netflix Original Series, “Grace and Frankie,” which will debut its first season on May 8. He also starred in the TBS series, “Legally Blonde,” and is co-host of Leonard Maltin’s movie podcast, “Maltin on the Movies.”
Vaughn joins headliners Sara Schaefer (Comedy Central, MTV), Amhed Bharoocha (Tosh.O) and Chris Trew (New Orleans’ Hell Yes Fest).
In addition to the main acts, 50 other comedians from across the country will converge on the Port City to perform in a total of 25 shows throughout the four-day festival.
All shows are within walking distance from each other and can be attended with the purchase of a festival pass, with the exclusion of Schaefer’s shows at Dead Crow Comedy Room on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2.
Festival passes are on sale now for $20 now through midnight on April 15 ($25 after).
