More than 800 doses of LSD seized after arrest at high school football game

Two Brunswick County men were arrested and more that 800 doses of LSD were seized after school resource officers at South Brunswick High School arrested a man allegedly trying to sell the drug at a Friday night football game.

Olin Chad Ivey, 29, faces several drug charges involving LSD and Xanax after he was arrested by drug agents at the school’s campus Friday night, according to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Emily Flax.

Drug agents received the tip from school resource officers at South Brunswick High School and seized 72 dosage units of LSD, as well as 38 Xanax tablets his from possession.

After further investigation, drug agents arrested 37-year-old Odell Fraisier Bullington during a vehicle stop on Main Street in Shallotte at about midnight Saturday, Flax said.

Bullington is charged in connection with selling 100 dosage unit of LSD to Ivey, according to arrest warrants. Detectives seized 705 dosage units of LSD from his possession in the traffic stop. A search warrant was conducted at Bullington’s home where agents seized an additional 106 dosage units.

Bullington, of Ocean Isle Beach, has been charged with two counts of trafficking LSD; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance; selling or delivering a schedule I controlled substance; possession of LSD and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Brunswick County jail and placed under a $230,000 secured bond.

Ivey, of Supply, has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance; possession of LSD and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Brunswick County jail and placed under a $25,000 secured bond.
