Hammerheads to hold meet and greet

Wilmington Hammerheads FC will take to the pitch for their first regular season match on Saturday, April 5, at Legion Stadium.

As part of the organization’s new branding effort and as a way for soccer fans to meet and talk with coaches and players, the local pro soccer club has rented out the old Time Warner Cable store near the JC Penny wing at Independence Mall.

In the week leading up to every home match this season, coaches and players will hold a meet and greet with fans at their outpost in the mall.

This Wednesday, April 2, Coach David Irving and his club will talk with fans from 6-8 p.m. to rally before the team’s home-opener on Saturday, April 5, against Harrisburg City.
