“As the leading media company in the Cape Fear region, our commitment is to bring people together. We do this every day, online and on-air,” Hometown Wilmington Media General Manager Beau Gunn said. “Strictly Business is our way of making our virtual community a literal one–gathering local newsmakers and consumers who have a common commitment to community.”
UNCW’s CIE is the event’s presenting sponsor.
“Networking is a driving force in the entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said UNCW Chancellor Gary L. Miller. “The CIE’s presence at Strictly Business will allow us to highlight our services to community members who may not have had the opportunity to attend one of the CIE’s events. We look forward to strengthening existing relationships and making new connections, which both play a vital role in fueling the success of companies at the CIE and our region.”
