According to New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. J.J. Brewer, a man armed with a knife robbed the Best Western Plus Wilmington Inn on Carolina Beach Road just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to hotel staff, the hotel was operating as normal Wednesday morning.

So, is the race of the man unknown, or is it deleted for political correctness?
For an armed robbery, I’d imagine that you’d want to put out every bit of information about the suspect.
