Officers with the Wilmington Police Department are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion and shooting.
Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Lucy Crockett said officers responded to a home in the 4300 block of Crimson Court Thursday night.
According to Crockett, three men armed with handguns entered the home, ransacked the house and one of the suspects shot a 19-year-old man.
The shooting victim was taken to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Crockett said the suspects reportedly took marijuana, a small amount of cash and two cell phones.
The three suspects were all wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hoods tied around their faces. The investigation is ongoing.
